
Faberllull Olot
Faberllull Olot is a residency managed by the Institut Ramon Llull in collaboration with Olot's town council located at the Hotel Fluvià, in Olot (la Garrotxa, Catalonia), from where you can see Serra del Corb and Puigsacalm. Opened in 2016, it was the first residence of the Faberllull residencies network.
Who can apply for the residence?
The profile of residents we are looking for is of people who need a space and time for productive work, people who want to share their project with other residents and create a friendly and supportive community.
Faberllull is a residence which is open to all types of disciplines related to the arts, sciences and humanities. Who can come to Faberllull? Writers, translators, scriptwriters, playwrights, actors, musicians, filmmakers, photographers, artists, critics, historians, philosophers, sociologists, anthropologists, journalists, scientists, researchers, biologists, economists, lawyers and other professionals (or groups, institutions, enterprises, associations and other organizations) from all over the world:
- a) Professionals whose activity is focused on some of the thematic residencies.
- b) Professionals who want to work on their projects for a few days out of the dates of thematic residencies. That is to say, to do an individual residency.
What do we offer?
Faberllull offers you the opportunity to come to spend a few days (between one and three weeks) in the context of a thematic period to work on your personal project and, if you come to do a thematic residence, exchange experiences with other residents.
Faberllull Olot is a perfect natural environment where you can concentrate and disconnect from your daily routine. We will offer you quality time of a few days (between one and three weeks to work on your personal project) and, if you come to do a thematic residence, exchange experiences with other residents. During the stay, residents will collaborate in activities directed at students, professionals or the public in general; these activities will be in accordance with their project and will take into account previous demands and needs.
