Faber Andorra

Faber Andorra is a cultural residency programme organised with the support of the Government of Andorra and the Institut Ramon Llull. It is part of the Faberllull Network of Residencies in the Arts, Sciences and Humanities launched by the Institute. Faber Andorra opened its doors on 9 September 2019 and runs from February to November.

Faber Andorra is located in La Massana, a quiet parish 1,200 metres above sea level in the north-west of the Principality of Andorra. It has a population of around 10,000 people and a very rich natural heritage. There are many lakes and peaks, including Comapedrosa, the highest peak in the country. There is also the Sorteny Natural Park and the Vallnord ski resort.

Who can apply for a residential stay in Andorra?

Faber Andorra offers individual and interdisciplinary residencies between February and November to artists, writers, researchers, teachers and professionals from any field of knowledge from around the world.

The programme is dedicated to bringing emerging talents to Andorra, sharing new ideas, fostering international partnerships and making available to citizens the activities that residents can offer.  The selection of candidates is carried out through open calls for applications aimed at professionals from all disciplines. The calls are usually annual and announced the year before the stay.

What do we offer?

Faber Andorra offers a perfect natural environment in which to concentrate and disconnect from the daily routine. Each resident's stay can be between two and six weeks. During their time with us, residents engage in activities aimed at students, professionals or the general public, carried out in accordance with the project they are working on.
