Faber Andorra resident Ferran Joanmiquel Pla gave a theatre workshop on Thursday at Animal Teatre in Andorra. The workshop, for participants over 16 years old, focused on male and female stereotypes, gender roles and how they shape society.

This workshop looks at Image Theatre, a subgenre of what is known as the Theatre of the Oppressed. It deals with a series of concepts through acting and body expression without movement. The images on stage help generate discussion of these situations.

Ferran Joanmiquel is a playwright, director and professor of theatre in Girona. He is at Faber Andorra now to write a new play, Frontera, which is about the relationship between a father and a son and how they both face death.
