With the title Traducció en veu alta (Translation Out Loud), the translators staying at Faberllull this week engaged in a chat at the Isop bookstore in Olot on Thursday evening. The topic was their profession and whether you need to be a poet to translate poetry, as well as whether they also consider themselves poets.

In addition to the discussion, the translators read some of their adaptations of Mireia Calafell's poems into their respective languages. The talk was a good opportunity to learn more about Calafell's poetic universe from those who have studied it in depth to adapt it to other languages.

The chat brought to a close a week that Faberllull dedicated to translating the Catalan poet. A dozen translators had met with Mireia Calafell and adapted her texts into French, Italian, English, Spanish, Galician, Basque, German and Polish.
