Creation and context: live arts within a landscape
From Monday, 9 March 2026 to Sunday, 15 March 2026
March 2026
The Faberllull residency and the Sismògraf Festival have joined forces in a stay aimed at being a meeting space between artists, theorists and local agents so they can develop artistic practices in Olot, share methodologies and produce projects that can return to the city in the form of an artistic action, installation or show during Sismògraf 2026 or 2027.
During the residency, sustainability and the performing arts were discussed through inspiring experiences and links with the territory were established. The programme of activities included a series of visits to various venues around town and meetings with local groups to generate connections and work on sustainable practices in the live arts.
Sismògraf is a festival that operates from the perspective of sustainability, territory and movement. Located in La Garrotxa, it is connected to the rest of the world. That is why during this stay, people from various countries were invited to converse with Catalan professionals.
