Cinema- Script writing I
From Monday, 17 May 2021 to Monday, 31 May 2021
Script writing
Institut Ramon Llull is promoting a stay for writing scripts for full-length films in the treatment writing phase. This initiative is supported by the Catalan Film Academy and Associated Screenwriters of Catalonia (GAC).
After a critical 2020 for the sector, with filming stopped, film festivals cancelled and cinemas closed for months, it is more necessary than ever to support development that contributes to the construction of solid audiovisual projects that can be completed and produced in the medium term in Catalonia. With this in mind, the Institut Ramon Llull is offering scriptwriters and creators the opportunity to participate in a programme that will allow them to develop a first treatment of their work during a fortnight of full dedication.
The aim of this initiative is to contribute to the development of a part of the creative process of writing film scripts in the best possible conditions, facilitating research, the exchange of knowledge and the mentoring of selected experts who guarantee the excellence of writing, research and creation.
The residency will take place at Faberllull Olot from 17 to 31 May 2021.

A very enriching experience, of hard and constant work, in addition to knowing the projects of other colleagues. I think it’s been a lung for our writing, for our way of visualizing and thinking. I would only propose, if possible, a micro-presentation ...
