Colby Theriault Smith participates in the Ull Nu Festival , Andorra
Colby Theriault Smith participates in the Ull Nu Festival to show an unfinished version of the film he will shoot in Andorra during his stay. The artist explains in first person his experience as a resident of Faber Andorra and how he has worked to capture the serenity of Comapedrosa. He also shows his documentary film 'Elinize Saglık' (Health for your hands) which follows the life of Sevinç (Abla) Özkaya and her husband Hüsamettin, who grow olives in the village of Bayramiç, in Canakkale, Turkey. There they are helped by volunteers, workers and their respective wives, who both go by the name of Hafize.
"This was an absolutely incredible opportunity. I had my own time to give a presentation on my films. During my “Pro talk” I screened two films, talked about my inspirations, creative process, and showed a glimpse of what I had been working on in Faber Andorra. The people of the festival were also very welcoming and invited me to go to the other screenings and concerts. "
