Faberllull Olot and the Silene Association, in collaboration with Núria Social, are organizing an event on the theme: Is the Earth Alive? Indigenous and contemporary perspectives, with the participation of the writer Laia Llobera, the philosopher-political scientist Jorge Riechmann, the biologist-philosopher Andreas Webber, and the philosopher of science Jordi Pigem. The dialogue will be presented and moderated by Josep Maria Mallarach, PhD in environmental biology and coordinator of the Silene Association.
In these times of systemic crisis (health, social, climate, biodiversity, etc.) and growing uncertainties, we need to rethink the paradigms that have led us and explore visions that will help us move towards a new possible balance. The event is promoted by the Girona Provincial Council.
