Writer Tina Vallès has given a picture book script workshop for the illustrators resident at Faberllull. Tina gave advice on proposing, developing and structuring the story of a children's album. Using several illustrated albums by Catalan authors, she wanted the illustrators to consider how the stories are told, what information the text provides and what the image brings to the table. She also spoke about where to get ideas and how to organise and structure them.

Tina Vallès is a writer, translator and proofreader. She has published several children's stories, as well as collections of stories for adults. Among other distinctions, she received the Mercè Rodoreda Award for short stories and narratives in 2013 and the Llibres Anagrama Award in 2017.
