Musician and Faberllull resident Mar Sala led an educational activity for students aged 6 to 10 at Aula Musical Olot. Sala used the Dalcroze method to draw the children into the music. This method works on aspects of music through body movement, using hearing and rhythm as tools for learning.

During the session, the students sang, clapped their hands, walked, moved and even got to play some of the instruments. Sala also used graphic notations based on her d.e.a.f research project.

Mar Sala is solo piccoloist with the Wrocław Philharmonic (Poland) and one of the founding members of the nemø ensemble (Belgium) and artistic director of telam::ensemble:. (Poland). In 2023, under the artistic name zoutezee, she premiered “d.e.a.f. a third ear to a silenced body”. This performance installation uses visual arts, electronic music and poetry to give a voice to the silenced body.
