Canadian residents Sonia Medel and Adriana Contreras prepared two activities for the residents who are also at Faber these days. The first was in the foyer of the residence hall: a group discussion about how they identify with the concept of creators. This brought up doubts and discomfort. The two artists used the indigenous practice of sitting in a circle, looking into each other’s eyes, listening to each other and sharing what they each felt.  

The second activity took the group of residents on a walk outside Faber, from the residence hall to the centre of Olot. On the way, they stopped several times to listen to and observe their surroundings, with urban sensory explorations through sound and movement.  

Sonia Medel and Adriana Contreras are two multidisciplinary artists and curators from Canada. They both belong to the ENTREfractal group. At Faber, they are working on a feminist project made up of women from Latin America. It is the first of its kind in their country.
