The resident Satu Ekman is translating the play FitzRoy by Jordi Galceran from Catalan to Finnish. She had the opportunity to see the play in the Temporada Alta festival of the Municipal Theatre of Girona.

In her opinion, it was interesting to see the interpretation of the actresses. The rhythm of the dialogue was very intense and made the pauses more significant. Some parts of the text seemed quite serious but in the end, the interpretation was hilarious.

After the play, Satu Ekman met Sara Espuígul, one of the actresses. They had an interesting conversation about different interpretations of FitzRoy in different countries.

"To see the play In Girona was a wonderful experience which helps to get inside the text", says Ekman.
