Today has started the Screenplay Development Lab-II-a, promoted by the Academy of Catalan Cinema with the help of Guionistes Associats de Catalunya - GAC, with funding from the ICAA, through the European Union - NextGeneration EU in the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan; the Department of Culture of the Generalitat - ICEC - Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises, Barcelona City Council, DAMA, Ramon Llull University - FCRI, Pompeu Fabra University, ESCAC and the Ramon Llull Institute.

The twelve residents will participate in a series of activities directed by screenwriters and directors Almudena Monzú and Celia Rico. Through workshops and periods of individual work, the residents will develop the script project that they presented at the call.

In this first meeting, the dynamics of the group were explained and a theoretical introduction was made to the "Death to the ego" workshop, by Almudena Monzú; the residents also took part in the first exercise of the stay, on founding myths.
