Round table entitled ”Beyond the creative city” at Espai Cràter
On June 8, a round table entitled "Beyond the creative city" was held. A table formed by residents of Faberllull Olot Abigail Gilmore, Justin O'Connor and Tarek Varani, and Nicolás Barbieri, researcher and associate professor at the UAB, and Mireia Tresserras, member of EducArt educational and cultural services.
Opportunities, enabling factors and the funding landscape for local culture and creativity-driven regeneration are analysed. The debate has highlighted a variety of localized contexts that lie “beyond the creative city” and has considered cities and regions that are rural, peri-urban or located on the periphery of creative cities.
