On Monday March the 20th, 8th grade students of Escola Waldorf La Font in Vic (Catalonia) participated in a d. The workshop was a significant journey based on some illustrations that would end up into some tableau representations. Those illustrations connected to characters that the young students could identify with beyond intellectual understanding, deep in their senses. Within only an hour, Mette Bøe Lyngstad got the group to play; it was amazing to observe how they got into those characters by letting emerge their deepest emotions and current experiences. As a teacher of these students, I saw a great potential in this work. After Mette’s workshop, we have kept working on the tableaus bringing them up into drama scenes. I connected this work to the English Class and students were also asked to write down dialogues of those scenes and make some drawings. I shared the experience with other teachers and I will bring this experience to my colleagues as a closing up workshop once the school year is over. The encounter between Mette and my school has set a powerful seed.
