On Friday was held at Cafè Art Fontanella XII, Olot, a small colloquium about "El teatro del espíritu", the book that compiles a great part of the papers left unpublished by Carlos Rivarola. A posthumous poet given his early death in 1975. Rivarola combines, in unprecedented poetics, the sum of all the tensions of the time: the political effervescence, the nihilistic malditism, the erotic and the esoteric, betting for a suprasensible experience. The rescue of the writings, poems and essays, which were kept for 45 years in a piece of furniture belonging to the Rivarola’s family, was work of Federico Barea, who presented it giving a historical and stylistic context. Fragments of his essays and some poems were also read to confirm Rivarola’s claim that "In spite of all the pain in the world, Eros exists".
