On life and culture in the United States, with Elreanor Stanford, at Claude Academy (Olot)
On 25 November, I visited an English class at Claude Academy language school. I shared two of my poems with the group. I read them aloud and discussed the unfamiliar vocabulary and grammar. The students had many questions, and we also had a lively discussion about daily life and culture in the U.S. (Philadelphia specifically, where I’m from), the tradition of Thanksgiving (since the meeting happened to fall on the Thanksgiving holiday), and art and poetry in general.
