Luis Emilio Abraham has dealt with the aftermath of the violent past in contemporary Argentine playwriting (Grupo Carajaji, Mariano Pensotti, Ricardo Bartís, Marcelo Bertuccio or Alejandro Robino). Post-dictatorship generations face the traumatic past and reconstruct a problematic social memory.
We have analyzed the text Crónicas de sangre, by Alejandro Robino, which evokes, from an intergenerational perspective, the failure of the memory of the defeated (from the Spanish post-Civil War to the neoliberalism of the 1980s, including the university revolutions of 1960s-1970s).
