Juan Carreño, writer, poet and one of the founders of the "Escuela Popular del Cine" in Santiago de Chile, on collective and community creation and on the different realities of living in Latin America, presents an exhibition at the Santa Eugènia Civic Center in Girona of short films from the "Popular Film School" of Chile.

"The session in Girona was great. It began with a presentation on how the use of speech can be used in poetic writing and how this use can politically determine the territories. then three short films created by the popular film school were shown, focused on children and the reality of the territories less favored by the Chilean neoliberal system. A very pleasant experience and an excellent opportunity for dialogue and reflection.", explains Juan Carreño.
