The Chair of Linguistic Rights (CDL) of the Universitat de València is the result of the collaboration agreement of the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Conselleria d’Educació, Recerca, Cultura i Esport,  and the Universitat de València.

This agreement has created a stable framework that enables collaboration promote training, cultural, research and scientific university extension for disseminating knowledge and linguistic rights and the value of multilingualism.

The Chair pays preferential attention to legal, sociolinguistic and political studies, without excluding contributions in the field of linguistic rights and multilingualism from any other scientific discipline.

The co-director of the Chair, PhD Rafael Castelló-Cogollos, explained what actions and programs have been launched since its creation in 2019, and what future projects are planned.
