Collective residencies / Olot
Poetry translation between catalan, Basque and Galician
From Friday, 1 April 2022 to Friday, 8 April 2022
The Institut Ramon Llull, with the collaboration of the Etxepare Euskal Institutua and the Consello da Cultura Galega, have announced the opening of applications from established and emerging translators who want to participate in a residential course for poetry translation in Faberllull Olot.
The aim of the course is to offer translators a space for work, inspiration and exchange. The residential course will be divided into two parts: group activities to encourage exchange between residents that will include meetings with other translators and authors for inspiration and guidance, and individual work in which each translator can work on their own translation project.
Participation in the course will qualify translators to take part in a literary festival in the organisers’ home territories.
* OPEN CALL IS NOW CLOSED - we will no longer accept further applications.
