Vivancos Quartet Concert for NOIMA Students
Thursday, 12 February 2026 , Olot
The Vivancos Quartet gave a small recital for the students of NOIMA, the School of New Opportunities in La Garrotxa. Jordi Prim (violin), Alexis Garita (violin), Estela Megías (viola) and Joaquim Tejedor (cello) performed the pieces they had been rehearsing at the Faberllull residency.
Composer Joan Magrané complemented the experience with a brief introduction to the different scores to give the students context around what was being played in the classrooms.
NOIMA is aimed at people aged 16 to 24 who have fallen out of the educational and labour systems and currently have no support resources. The starting point of each young person who joins NOIMA is different. For this reason, flexible itineraries are defined that respond to an individualised work plan which begins and ends on the basis of each student's needs and personal process.
