On Thursday, April 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the El Galliner school in Girona, Raphaël Khouri, Jordanian playwright and theater director who lives between Berlin and Cairo, will teach a workshop, ESCRIT AL COS, for playwrights /gues and performers who want to access unexploited parts of their subconscious and generate new autobiographical material unexpectedly

The workshop delved into the way of creating theater from personal experiences, it began with a presentation of all the participants, deepened by the questions of the workshop leader. Afterwards, one of the participants was prompted to develop a monologue based on a childhood memory.

Writing usually happens in front of a laptop and texts emerge from our usual thinking territories. In this workshop, they "wrote" from the body, rather than from the mind. Participants improvised in front of a group and showed their vulnerability with themselves and others.
