Mariona Bessa has presented the novel Arracades d'avallaner (Hazelnut Earrings) by Montse Homs at the Trenca bookstore in Andorra la Vella. Both authors have won the Guillem Cifre de Colonya Award and write children's and young adult literature.

Arracades d'avallaner is a novel of feelings and emotions set in La Cerdanya along the route of the Yellow Train. Narrated by a fox, it features the landscape of the Pyrenees, which is why the author was very excited to present it in Andorra.

The book tells the story of a happy little girl who unexpectedly receives her first setback: her mother is awarded a research grant to work in Hong Kong. This bit of good news bursts the bubble Lisa has been living in. She is beset by worries, pressure and anxiety. She doesn't want to leave her school and her friends; doesn't want to move away from the town and the forests that surround her; doesn't want to be separated from her grandparents; and doesn't want to spend two years without seeing her pet, Ketti, or being able to play with her toys, which are the source of inspiration for her rich fantasy world.

This is a story in which every detail has been painstakingly covered. The film boasts a rich language full of registers; metaphors and comparisons, mostly related to nature, such as the case of the chosen narrator; literary references appropriate to the characters who utter them; and fantasy that is plentiful but believable in the world and symbolic games of a seven-year-old girl.
