Jolene Mok Gives Photography Workshop in Andorra la Vella
Jolene Mok (Hong Kong) gave a workshop on developing negatives with the Caffenol developer solution this Tuesday afternoon to students in the first photography course at the Comú d'Andorra la Vella art school. This is an alternative technique to the one normally used.
The workshop saw students develop black and white films with low-toxicity eco-friendly developers, using mainly coffee but also other everyday, common beverages such as tea and beer. All these drinks share the fact that they are made from plants and allow a more sustainable approach to analogue photography.
Jolene Mok is an experimental artist staying at Faber Andorra until 28 April.
