The participants of the second Faberllull Hackathon began shooting the short film today. Until Sunday, the young filmmakers will be shooting the scenes of the film in places at the Faberllull residence and other outdoor locations in the volcanic area of La Garrotxa.

The short film is titled A destemps (Out of the time) and tells how love impacts two young people, in a very visual work. Starting Monday, once filming is finished, the Hackathon participants will move to Girona to edit the rushes in the studios of the El Modern audiovisual and digital centre.

The Hackathon aims to promote emerging voices on their path to professionalisation through support, training, creation and production. The programme wishes to serve as a link to connect Catalan filmmakers aged 18 to 30 with producers and directors from around the world, creating a network of contacts between different countries.
