Musical Creation: From Stave to Performance 2026

Faberllull Olot is being turned into a musical residency for a week for the second year. Fabià Santcovsnky (Barcelona, 1987), the resident composer of the Music Network at Musical Youth of Catalonia, will be preparing during these days, together with the performers, the two works that will premiere on the organisation's concert circuit.

The works will be performed by the Trio Defilló and the Quartet Vivancos, both winners of the second edition of the La Flama award handed down by the Federation of Musical Youth of Catalonia as part of its mission to help promote new chamber music groups from Catalonia.

Rehearsals will be a feature of the Faberllull residency and account for most of the time. However, the musicians will also share their pieces in a concert for the students of the Olot Municipal Music School.

After the residency, the two groups will begin a concert tour, where they will take the new compositions to various stages.
