Bio

Born in 2002, Guillem began his musical studies at the Accent Music School when he was five and entered the IEA Oriol Martorell at the age of six. At 18 he joined the ESMUC, where he studied with Vera Martínez Mehner (of the Cuarteto Casals) until 2024, and also received chamber music lessons with Abel and Arnau Tomàs. He complemented his studies with baroque violin classes with Emilio Moreno Aguado (2020-2023), playing an original violin from 1795.

Guillem has performed in prominent venues such as the Petit Palau and Casa Elizalde in Barcelona, among others. He has taken part in several festivals and received lessons from violinists such as Corrado Bolsi and Michael Foyle. He has won national awards such as the 12th Musical Performance and Composition Awards, and took home an Honourable Mention at the10th Awards. Guillem has obtained a scholarship for the Jeunesses Musicales International Chamber Music Campus. He has participated in international festivals such as Emusik (Donostia-San Sebastian, 2016) and Sneek (Netherlands, 2018) with Accent Orchestra, and played with the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia, the Symphonic Orchestra of Vallès and the European Youth Orchestra Academy since 2019.
