Bio
Born in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Quim Tejedor Arruga began his studies at the Palau music school and later attended the Barcelona Municipal Conservatory of Music with Eulàlia Nosàs, where he obtained the highest qualifications in both cello and chamber music and was recognised by unanimously winning the honorary prize. He graduated from the ESMU music school with Cristoforo Pestalozzi and Arnau Tomàs, having received honours in his recital, and also in chamber music with members of the Cuarteto Casals as teachers. He later undertook a master's in performance at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg with professor Tanja Tetzlaff. Quim completed his education by receiving classes and participating in several master classes by recognised cellists such as Gautier Capuçon, Sol Gabetta, Tristan Cornut, Rafael Rosenfeld, Gustav Rivinius, Anssi Kartunen, Arnau Tomàs and Erica Wise, among others.
