Bio
Born in 2004, Martina began her musical studies at the Accent Music School when she was five and, at six, entered the IEA Oriol Martorell Conservatory, studying cello with Gaëtane Duynslaeger. At just 16 years old, she entered the Liceu Superior Conservatory with a full scholarship from the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation, where she studied with Professor Lluís Claret (2020–2024). She is currently doing a master's under Santiago Cañón-Valencia and Stanislas Kim.
Martina has performed in prominent venues such as the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, L'Atlàntida in Vic and in Italy with the orchestra "I Musici di Parma". She has received master classes from renowned cellists such as Gary Hoffman, Jean-Guihen Queyras, Ludwig Quandt and Giovanni Gnocchi. In competitions, she has won several first prizes, including the “XV Musical Interpretation Awards” (Girona, 2018), the “XI Concurso da Corda Cidade de Vigo” (2023) and “La Flama” with the Trio Defilló (2024), with whom she has also been a finalist in international competitions.
