Berlin-based artist Han le Han offered an approach to the Japanese floral art of ikebana in the exhibition hall of the Government of Andorra on Saturday. The workshop, aimed at artists and other related professions, combined theoretical and practical content. Participants discovered the origins, philosophy and main styles of ikebana, a discipline defined by harmony, simplicity and balance with nature. They also had the opportunity to create their own compositions.

Han le Han will be a resident at Faber Andorra until 19 June. The artist and researcher is creating installations from materials found around the residence, inspired by the poems of Andorran writer Teresa Colom. Saturday's workshop was held within the framework of the exhibition “[Referents]. Lita Cabellut Maseda” which can be visited at the exhibition hall of the Government of Andorra until 27 June.
