Embroidery on Photography Workshop with Tatiana Donoso
Tatiana Donoso led a workshop on embroidery on photography at the Olot Seniors' Association. Participants worked with photographs from the collection of the Garrotxa Regional Archive that portrayed scenes related to the city's textile past.
The artist invited them to rewrite the images by embroidering on them. Participants explored the possibilities of taking to the photos with thread and needle to bring out other latent images through embroidery.
Tatiana Donoso was born in Chile but grew up in Barcelona after her family fled from Pinochet and the military coup. With a degree in art history, she was professionally dedicated to photography for more than ten years.
