Resident screenwriters at Faberllull share their creative process with students from the Olot School of Art

Carla Linares, Cristina Rubio and Pablo Gil explained their creative process to the students of the Olot School of Art. All three shared the way they craft stories, where ideas come from and how their stay at Faberllull helped them grow their project.

The talk also included the participation of Mariona Claveria, who presented the Catalan Cinema Academy's Script Residency project to the Olot students.

The three screenwriters are currently at Faberllull to work on the scripts of their respective feature films. Carla Linares is developing the plot of Perro Paria. The film tells the love story of Sara, a young acrobat, and Román, a boy living in a caravan on the outskirts of a town in the Pyrenees. Cristina Rubio is writing the script for Le passeur, el passage, about a filmmaker who makes his debut after the age of 60 and shines when he portrays what should have been his downfall. Pablo Gil is focusing on the feature film Els dropos de la piscina, a story in which water becomes an object of desire and smuggling in a time of drought where a state of emergency has been declared.
