Faberllull Residents Visit the Catalan Service of Olot

The residents involved in "The Transmission and Use of Minority Languages - A Generational Crisis?" visited the Catalan Service of Olot. Activists for Aranese, Amazigh, Sardinian, Silesian, Kashubian, Vilamovian, Lemko and Dzūkian were keen to discover the initiatives promoted by the Consortium for Linguistic Normalisation in Olot to promote the use of the Catalan language.

The Consortium's managers explained, among other matters, the language pairing programme and the project under way to ensure that companies are linguistically responsible.

Until 10 March, Faberllull aims to determine the processes that promote and hinder the use of minority languages among young people, as well as their attitudes and positions with regards language. Activists for different minority languages in Poland, Catalonia and the Aran Valley, among other places, can make contact with each other.
