The 2023-2024 screenwriting residency ended its time at Faberllull with an event at El Modern, Girona
The screenwriting residency organised by the Catalan Film Academy rounded off its stay at Faberllull with a panel discussion at the El Modern Centre Audiovisual i Digital in Girona. Five resident screenwriters took part in a colloquium sharing their creative process with the audience.
The event shared the day-to-day process of the co-director of Les amigues de l’Àgata, Alba Cros; creator of the documentary Remember my name, Elena Molina; creator of the animated series Muntar un pollastre, Joan Marc Voces; screenwriter of La imatge permanent, Laura Ferrés; and director of Quan les mares dormen, Àngel Tolosa.
For one week, a dozen residents met at Faberllull for the close of the second Screenplay residency organised by the Catalan Film Academy. Over nine months, the academy guided eight projects with mentorships, masterclasses, industry events and visits to festivals. The residents also stayed at Faberllull at the beginning of the project, returning now at the end to present the work they’ve finished.
