Ukrainian actor and director Yevhenii Vikhorst reflected on how culture and the arts are a way to forge personal bonds that are essential to any professional practice. He made these reflections in an activity to first-year students in the Social Education programme at the University of Vic. Vikhorst explained how the performing arts, city, reality, cultures, and what revolves around each one, affect his professional practice and how being open to this makes people better professionals.

Yevhenii Vikhorst is an actor, director, screenwriter, singer and songwriter. Right now he is at Faberllull Olot working on ReincarNation, a documentary performance piece featuring monologues by Ukrainians during the Russian invasion. The goal is to further understanding of the Ukrainian fight among foreign communities.
