Filming starts for Hackathon short

After five days of pre-production, today the participants in the Faberllull cinema Hackathon started shooting their short. Filming is scheduled to last three days, the first two in Olot and the final one on the sound stages at El Modern, Centre Audiovisual i Digital de Girona.

Titled Ombres silencioses (Silent shadows), the story stars Alba, a young woman who is passionate about photography, and her two childhood friends Hug and Martí. They discover a photo album and are drawn into the hidden history behind one of the pictures. A combination of drama and mystery that will have the audience hooked from the very first moment.

The shooting team is made up of actors Andrea Grau, Lluís Arruga and Pol Toro; director Kamogelo Lunga “Steezus” Mthombeni, assistant director David Alesina, cinematographer Marc Lorente, gaffer Anton Rey, director of photography and costumes Hug Casals, sound director Semra Fogel, editors Maélie Jaffrin and Camila Brandão, and producer Carla Griñó. All coordinated by Paula Comas.
