Cuban engineer and writer Sender Escobar featured in the final activity by the individual residents at Faber this January. At Cafè Art Fontanella XIII in Olot, Escobar spoke about what he has learned at Centro de Formación Literaria Onelio Jorge Cardoso in Cuba. He took advantage to discuss his favourite Cuban writers and how they have influenced his work.   

Escobar spoke about Eduardo Heras Leon, a writer who has become extremely important to him. During the chat, he also revealed some of the writing techniques he learned at the Cuban centre for literary training, which he uses in his own work.  

Sender Escobar has written for several digital media outlets and published works of poetry and fiction. At Faberllull, he is working on his novel Buena suerte, Leonel Marcano, which is about the process of shooting a documentary about writer Leonel Marcano.
