I am documentary scriptwriter and director, I am working in my new project that will be feature documentary film. As Algerian, we have a mother language “Amazigh or Tmazight” that we defended to be official language in Algeria with Arabic that is official language here, and as Algerian filmmaker I defend this native language by use it and promote it in my films and telling a stories about Amazigh people.

My Project is documentary Film and this documentary reveals the hardships faced by young Amazigh villagers whose only form of livelihood is stone cutting in the quarry in the heart of the Algerian Desert. As a result of their work, many of them suffer from lung disease. The film will follow a dying young man, his still healthy workmate who refuses to quit his job, and the driver who voluntarily supplies the masks for the workers.
