Volcanologists in schools and institutes in Olot and Les Preses
Residents of the Volcanology stay have visited several schools and institutes. In Les Preses: La Bòbila school. And in Olot: the Volcà Bisaroques school and the Cor de Maria, and the Montsacopa, Garrotxa and Bosc de la Coma high schools.
They have talked about topics as diverse as volcanism in Mexico and El Salvador; the last eruption in Iceland, the macaronesia volcano (northeast Atlantic): Azores, Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Madeira and Islas salvajes; the formation of magma that will then generate volcanoes and the composition of the earth’s mantle and what lies beneath the crust; the volcanoes of La Garrotxa.
