Activities of Albert Forns in faber Andorra
During my time in Andorra, I took part in an online reading club together with a few members of the Pas de la Casa library, in which I explained my career and my research in Andorra. On account of the COVID-19 pandemic, not many people were able to attend (3 readers, besides the municipal workers and library staff), yet the discussion was interesting and lively and, as always, the fact that the participants were well read really showed in the conversation. After telling them what my books are all about (they had not read them, but promised to do so), I took advantage of the end of the session to ask them about my line of research, the Maquis, and was able to come away with some interesting observations, as well as a reading list and other sources which I was not familiar with. I also taught a creative writing workshop for about fifty third-year ESO students from the Sant Ermengol School in Andorra la Vella, who displayed their literary talents through a series of exercises involving character creation, dialogues and plot structure.
