Sound in cinema
The class was about the role of sound in cinema. We defined what the soundtrack is and its different sections and then we got fully into its functions, in each case I tried to give some examples looking to give them some tools so when they create their own audiovisual pieces they can resort to it. At the end, I showed scenes from movies ( "Zama" of Lucrecia Martel and "The Hours" of Stephen Dalrdy) and we did an analysis of how sound was used and the role it played in each scene. The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable, in a beautiful place to teach.
