Project
At Faberllull, she’ll be developing Memento Mori: a durational performance study on cultural constructions of death. This project is a community-oriented happening that facilitates intergenerational, cross-cultural dialogue around the end of life.
Inspired by the sacred ecology of natural burial, Memento Mori centers a site-specific gravedigging ritual. During her time at Faberllull, she will focus on expanding the project’s performative core to comprise communal ceremony and conversation. Her work seeks to re-code death as non-solitary, creating space for gentle reckoning with the most mysterious juncture of the life cycle.
