Project

Imagine, from text to screen. Imagining is defined as "forming a mental picture of something". In the audiovisual writing process, imagination is paramount because the screenwriter is "seeing" the film in his head that he must translate into words so that others can then transfer it to the cinematographic language of lights, shadows and sounds. Within the phases of audiovisual writing, the artefact that facilitates the transition between the written script and the staging, which is the story-board, is of particular interest. I will concentrate on visualizing the script of the feature film THE INVASION OF THE BARBARIANS, which is already in production, in order to amend it and transfer it to images by creating the story board that will be essential for in its filming. Once the film is finished, I will be able to present it again to the Olot audience and to the participants of future residencies.
