Choreographers Elena Lalucat and Laia Santanach, from Mallorca and Catalonia respectively, have been chosen to take part in an international residential course and mentoring programme in Ireland and Catalonia (Faberllull Olot) in 2021 and 2022 as part of the programme entitled Creation 21/22: A Collaborative Artists Residency of Discovery, Support & Cultivation, along with nine other Irish artists. The programme is an initiative of the Carlow County Council Arts Service, with support from the local arts offices in Dublin City, South Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Waterford, Wicklow and Wexford. It also enjoys the support of the Carlow Arts Festival, Dublin Dance Festival, National Circus Festival, the International ISACS network, United Fall Dance of Ireland and Danseu Festival. The programme is led and was conceived by The Performance Corporation with support from the Arts Council (An Chomhairle Ealaíon).
