Biografia

Cristina Delgado García (Escòcia) és professora de teatre i performance a la Universitat de Glasgow, on coordina el Màster en Escriptura Teatral i Dramatúrgia, i el Màster en Estudis Teatrals. La seva investigació se centra en el teatre britànic des del 1990, les dramatúrgies contemporànies d'esquerres, el teatre participatiu i socialment compromès, i les contribucions del teatre al pensament polític i filosòfic.

Delgado és autora del llibre Rethinking Character in Contemporary British Theatre: Aesthetics, Politics, Subjectivity (2015) i coeditora del volum Affects in 21st-Century British Theatre: Exploring Feeling on Page and Stage. Forma part del consell editorial del Journal of Contemporary Drama in English i de la sèrie Playwriting and the Contemporary: Critical Collaborations, publicada a través de Liverpool University Press. Va ser coordinadora del grup de treball Political Performances Working Group de la International Federation for Theatre Research (2018-2022). La seva tesi doctoral va rebre el premi CDE 2013.
