Bio
Henriette Arndt is a researcher in General Linguistics at Lund University, Centre for Languages and Literature and the LU Humanities Lab. Her research focuses on how people use, and consequently learn, languages beyond the classroom, in their everyday lives, on– and offline. Her work also has strong methodological components, centering on the Experience Sampling Method and other intensive longitudinal methods for investigating language acquisition and use in situ.
Henriette holds a DPhil in Education and an Msc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford. Prior to her current appointment, she worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the LANG-TRACK-APP project and for the research platform Language Acquisition, Multilingualism, and Teaching (LAMiNATE).
