Bio
Literary translator from Catalan, French and Spanish into Italian. She took a degree in modern languages and literatures and a master's in linguistic, literary and translation sciences at the Sapienza University in Rome, as well as a master's in translation studies at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. She lived in Catalonia for three years, where she discovered and fell in love with Catalan literary and poetic life. After four years in Berlin, she returned to Rome, where she works with the Ensemble publishing house as a translator and reviewer of Catalan and Spanish for the poetry collection Siglo Presente.
From Catalan she has translated "La città stanca" by Maria Callís Cabrera, "Noi, chi" by Mireia Calafell and "Bruciano disordini" by Pau Vadell. In 2024 she received an honourable mention in the second "M’illumino d’Immenso" international prize for the translation of poetry from Spanish to Italian.
Project
She will translate Mireia Calafell's poems into Italian.
