Bio
Degree in screenwriting and directing from Centre d’Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya (CECC). He has worked as an assistant director on many films, including Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Biutiful by Alejandro González Iñárritu. His short film The dress (2016) won first prize from the Concurso de Cortometrajes Versión Española / SGAE, best short film at the Festival de Cinema en Català (FIC-CAT) and best Spanish short at the Bueu International Film Festival (FIC-BUEU). La dignitat (2018) won best screenplay at the Festival de Cinema de l’Alfàs del Pi and took part in international festivals.
He has directed TV series such as Merlí: Sapere Aude (Movistar+), Moëbius and The Hockey Girls (3cat). Delta, the first series he both created and directed, will be coming soon (3cat and À Punt Media).
He is currently working on writing Napalm, an adaptation of the novel Napalm al cor by Pol Guasch (2021 Anagrama Award), which will be his first feature film.
Project
He will be at Faberllull to work on the script for Napalm. The story follows a young couple fleeing a war-ravaged world. Among the ash and debris, they are trying to survive and find meaning, while their paths cross with other stories of pain and hope in an apocalyptic landscape.
