Bio

Berta Prieto (Barcelona, 1998) is an actress, screenwriter and playwright. She trained as an actress at various schools, including El Col·legi de Teatre, El Galliner and L’Estudi Laura Jou. She gained recognition for the series Autodefensa, where she is both co-creator and lead actress. In theatre, she has premièred works such as El Chinabum (directed by Paula Ribó, 2018), FUCK YOU MODERN FAMILY (2019) and Derecho a pataleta (2023), for which she was a resident company at Sala Beckett. Prieto is preparing two more plays for TNC and the Auditori. She regularly contributes to El País and has participated in various think tanks at the CCCB, La Casa Encendida and CaixaForum.

Project

At Faberllull, she will be working on the script for the series Segona temporada, co-written with Miguel Ángel Blanca and Víctor Diago.
